Well, we found the camera. After ransacking the house, making a list of theft possibilities (we’d had a cleaning service and two construction workers in the house on the day the camera disappeared), we finally thought to ask Kenny. He said, “I know where it is,” then gave us a bunch of bogus locations. But it did trigger us to look on his level, in some of his favorite spots.
We found the camera in one of the living room toy boxes, with 87 unauthorized photos, including about 15 like this:
Not his best angle, but it gave me the first belly laugh that hasn’t hurt in two weeks.
I also noticed in a few of the recent pictures of Cooper, he looks more like baby Kenny than I’d thought at first:
Can you guess who’s who?
Our household is beginning to resemble a little more of a circus, as Cooper and Kenny (and Casey and Dudley!) vie for attention. But all is well… I still haven’t had to get up more than once a night so far. Cooper certainly makes up for it by daytime feedings, though. All in all, I’d say we’re experiencing a little bit of heaven.

Too cute! Newborns are so precious and adorable, even if they don’t quite have the personality exhibited in that top pic there!
That’s funny! We had to learn that just a while back. Ask Josh. And look in his favorite spots. It’s funny how it works! We couldn’t find our tv remote sometime back. We finally found it in Josh’s tackle box!
We’ve also found crayons in our shoes! I’m so glad you are getting rest. I get up with Justin a couple of times between 12am – 6am. Every now and then, he’ll get up once.
All in all, motherhood is a wonderful thing!!
Glad to hear you found the camera! The boys look so much alike but Cooper’s hair is a give away – so cute! We also lost our camera while our eldest Lilly was on a mission to document every detail in our life then forgetting where she put it. I was in a panic because it had so many pics from Maddox’s birth to a few weeks ago. I learned a valuable lesson though – download everyday – yeah right! I’m still lucky to feed all four of them breakfast by 10 am. The time is going so fast – it’s hard to believe he’ll be five weeks on Wednesday! Take care and God bless!
Absolutely adorable…. (both of them!)
Kristjana, congratulations on finding the camera. Haven’t lost ours yet but we’ve had some near misses with the car keys. I think the reason my son likes being held is so he can scope out where they on the counter and steal them later on. Those 87 “unauthorized” photos will be prize possessions that will make an interesting blog post all by itself.
You have a beautiful family! We just passed thru MD earlier this week, we were on the way to NY from Nashville (we drove from VA after visiting with family) I love the Maryland area. I grew up fishing and crabing in the Ches. Bay, I miss it. Blessings to you!
